At 3:08pm on Saturday, 23 March, we received a call to a report of a vehicle fire on the M4 between Junction 12 and 11.
A crew from Theale Community Fire Station was sent to the scene.
On arrival, crews found a van had overheated at the side of the road and they used one hose reel to cool the engine.
The crews were on scene for approximately 10 minutes.
