Vehicle fire on M25(N)

At 10:59am on Tuesday, 29 August, we received reports of a vehicle fire on the clockwise carriageway of the M25 between junctions 15 and 16.

A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Langley Fire Station was sent to the scene alongside two Officers and crews from London Fire Brigade and Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.

Upon arrival, crews discovered a lorry on fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels and two main jets to extinguish the fire.

The Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew were on the scene for approximately three hours and 25 minutes.
