At 12:44am on Monday, 5 December, we received reports of a vehicle fire on the M4 (E) between Membury Services and Junction 14 Shefford Woodlands.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury, Hungerford, and Lambourn fire stations were sent to the scene, supported by crews from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service.
Upon arrival, crews found a car well alight.
Firefighters extinguished the fire using a hose reel and were on the scene for approximately one hour and 7 minutes.
