At 10:19am on Saturday, 2 May, we received reports of a vehicle fire on the eastbound carriageway of the M4 between Junctions 8/9 and 10.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Bracknell and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a vehicle fire Firefighters extinguished the fire before handing the scene over to National Highways.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 25 minutes.
