At 5:35am on Wednesday, 20 March, we received reports of a vehicle fire on the westbound carriageway of the M4 between Junctions 5 and 6.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough and Langley fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a care on fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 32 minutes.
