At 8:50am on Tuesday, 22 September, we received reports of a fire on Ashville Way in Wokingham.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham and Bracknell fire stations were sent to the scene alongside two Officers.

On arrivals, crews discovered a fire inside a dustcart. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the fire before using a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.

Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and 30 minutes.
