Tudor House water leak/ chemical incident

At 5:01am on Sunday, 25 September, we received reports of a water leak from a flat in Tudor House, Bracknell.

A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Bracknell was sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, fire crews isolated the water supply in an upstairs flat and isolated the electrical supply to the flat below.

While at the scene, fire crews discovered a quantity of unopened chemicals and requested the attendance of Thames Valley Police, who as a precautionary measure, set up a 100 metre cordon and evacuated properties in the immediate vicinity.

The cordon was removed on Sunday evening.

Crews were at the scene for 1 hour and 18 minutes. Please contact Thames Valley Police for further information.
