At 6:50pm on Thursday, 4 January, we received reports of we received reports of a flooding incident on Newbury Road near Shefford Woodlands.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury and Hungerford fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered flood waters threatening a house. Firefighters used two pumps to reduce the water level to a safe amount.
Crews were at the scene for approximately four hours and 42 minutes.
