At 7.34am on Tuesday, 9 January, we received reports of a car trapped in flood water on the River Thames near Sonning.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival crews located the vehicle, then rescued one person. Crews were on scene for about 11 minutes.
