At 9:59am on Monday, 8 January, we received reports of an incident on Temple Island near Henley.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Wokingham and Windsor fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an incident command unit and crews from Oxfordshire County Council Fire and Rescue Service.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a person stranded on a boat stuck in flood water. Firefighters rescued the person and ensured that the boat was left in a secure location.
Crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and 20 minutes.
