Water rescue in Windsor

At 6:53pm on Friday, 27 October, we received reports of boat requiring rescue in the River Thames near Windsor.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough and Langley fire stations were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews discovered that the boat had managed to navigate to the riverbank. The boat was safely moored and two people were given water safety advice.

Crews were on the scene for approximately 11 minutes.
