At 7:06pm on Thursday, 21 September, we received reports of a vehicle in water at Lands End Ford near Charvil.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Wokingham Road, Wokingham and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene alongside a Water Rescue Unit from Caversham Road Fire Station.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a vehicle stuck in the ford. All three passengers were able to escape the vehicle before firefighters arrived and were taken into the care of South Central Ambulance Service. Crews proceeded to secure the scene.
Crews were at the scene for approximately 27 minutes.
