Following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Wayne Bowcock, Chief Fire Officer of Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service Said: “It is with great sadness we learn of the death of Her Majesty The Queen.
“On behalf of the Service and Royal Berkshire Fire Authority, we would like to extend our thoughts and deepest sympathies to the Royal Family at this sad time.”
Following the Proclamation of King Charles III, Paul Gittings, Chairman of Royal Berkshire Fire Authority, said: “On behalf of Royal Berkshire Fire Authority, we would like to wish King Charles III well as he begins his reign.
“Long live the King.”
