Firefighter Apprentices Cycle Challenge for Charity

When and Where?

On Saturday, 28 October, a team of Firefighter Apprentices from RBFRS will be taking on a charity cycling challenge. Starting at 10am in The Lexicon in Bracknell, the apprentices will individually cycle 80km on static bikes to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity.

 Why 80 kilometres?

2023 marks the 80 year anniversary of The Fire Fighters Charity. In order to celebrate this milestone, the apprentices will cycle 1km for every year the charity has been established.

The Fire Fighters Charity supports the health and wellbeing of serving and retired fire and rescue service personnel, their dependants and other eligible members of the UK fire services community, throughout their lives, helping them to live happier and healthier.
