At 12:51pm on Thursday, 4 December, we received a call from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service to reports of a vehicle on fire on the M25 northbound clockwise between Junction 15 and Junction 16.
Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough Fire Station and one crew from Langley Fire Station were sent to the scene, alongside the Water Carrier from Bracknell Fire Station and one Officer.
Upon arrival, crews found a lorry carrying mixed waste in its trailer on fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel to put out the fire and make the scene safe. The incident was handed over to National Highways.
They were on scene for approximately two hours and 35 minutes.
