Firefighter Apprentices Cycle Challenge for Charity

On Saturday, 28 October, a team of Firefighter Apprentices from RBFRS will be taking on a charity cycling challenge. Starting at 10am in The Oracle Shopping Centre in Reading, the apprentices will collectively cycle 80km on static bikes to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity.

Improved Response Times in 2022/23

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) has improved its overall response time during 2022/23, reducing the average time it takes to respond to emergencies by 22 seconds, when compared to a decade ago (2012/13), as shown in data recorded by the Home Office.
