At 12:38am on Monday, 6 February, we received reports of a fire at a commercial property on Imperial Way, Reading.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Whitley Wood, Wokingham, and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found a fire affecting an electric forklift truck in the commercial property’s warehouse.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using a hose reel and were on the scene for approximately three hours and 42 minutes.
