At 6:34pm on Sunday, 11 June, we received reports of a fire on Claremont Crescent in Newbury.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an Officer.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire in a garage. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus entered the property and recovered a small helium cylinder before using two hose reels to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters also provided immediate emergency care to one person at the scene before placing them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Crews were on the scene for approximately two hours and 15 minutes.
