Road traffic collision in Newbury

At 12:38pm on Sunday, 19 February, we were called by Thames Valley Police to reports of a road traffic collision on Northbrook Street, Newbury.

Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Newbury Fire Station were sent to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews found a road traffic collision involving one vehicle, with one person unfortunately trapped inside.

Crews worked to release the person from the vehicle and provide Immediate Emergency Care, before placing them into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

Crews then worked to make the scene safe and handed the incident over to Thames Valley Police. They were on the scene for approximately one hour and two minutes.
