At 5:04pm on Saturday, 6 May, we received reports of a road traffic collision on the westbound carriageway of the M4 between junctions 10 and 8/9.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Slough and Maidenhead fire stations were sent to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a person trapped in a vehicle following an incident. Firefighters released the person from the vehicle before handing them into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Crews were on the scene for approximately 15 minutes.
