Fire in Slough

At 9.55pm on Monday, 15 May, we received reports of a fire at an industrial storage facility in Horton, Slough. 

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Langley, Slough, Windsor and an Incident Command Unit from Maidenhead, along with two Officers were sent to the scene.

London Fire Brigade (LFB) also sent two appliances to support the incident response.

Six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using five hose reels, two water jets and two hydrants. Crews remained on the scene for damping down and a re-inspection of the property was carried out the following morning.

Crews were on the scene initially for approximately 5 hours and 50 minutes.
